Ice Melt
Mosher Landscaping offers ice melt services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day throughout the snow season. We offer several methods to eliminate potential slip hazards on driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots:
• Sodium chloride (rock salt) for parking lots, driveways and roadways
• Calcium chloride on areas adjacent to lawns to help lessen turf damage and in extremely cold temperatures
• Sand only for areas requiring traction with minimal potential for corrosion
Mosher Landscaping monitors the amount of salts applied and only uses as much as necessary to create non-slip surfaces. We only charge our clients for the minimum salt required. Some of our clients report significant savings in their cost of salt using our approach. This also helps the environment and limits damage to adjacent plants, grass and soil.
